Kyle Pinkerton-Tonks-Jolivette III

Classy and super smooth, like James Bond but with a nasty carvery habit.

Matthew Renshaw

Matt has played in our trombone section for for over 30 years. When he’s not at work or band he can be found gigging round town with his Ska outfit.

Favourite Piece of Music: Anything by The Specials.
Q: What’s been your highlight of playing with the band?
A: I enjoy so many things about playing in the band. I love the highs and lows and contesting and love the pleasure you bring to people in concerts. I’ve played with this band since I was small and I can’t see me leaving – ever.

Paul Naisbitt

Paul aka “Nezzy” has played alongside Matt for over 30 years and is always ready to ease pre-contest nerves with a backstage joke. He absolutely loves tromboning and eats his own bodyweight in cake every 24 hours.

Favourite Piece of Music: The Cure’s ‘A Forest’
Q: Concerts of Contests? Which do you prefer most?
A: Although I love the interaction with an audience at concerts, I have to say contests. I get a real buzz from the mixture of nerves and excitment, not to mention all the work that you have to put in to a piece that only last about 10-15 minutes.
